adidas DFB home jersey 2018
We photographed the German national team for the launch of the adidas DFB 2018 home kit. Selected players were photographed either individually or in groups of three or five at the Stuttgart Mercedes-Benz Arena. For this photoshoot, we developed poses that convey a relaxed and natural atmosphere to project the values of "the team". The simplicity of the jersey certainly came into its own against this stark, urban backdrop. The lighting concept made for a natural light ambience in the photos. The project comprised the photography and all coordination of all those involved in the photoshoot, as well as design of the key visuals, which were used for retail.
In 1920, Adi Dassler invented studded shoes, since which time adidas has dominated soccer. With innovation in all areas of sports apparel and equipment, the brand has driven the development of the sport and constantly redefined it. Since 2016, we have supported adidas Football (soccer) with the concept and implementation of various projects.

We produced a design video for the launch of the new DFB 2018 home kit.
The video shows Senior Design Director Jürgen Rank and places him in the context of his sources of inspiration. We lead the audience through the process by combining the individual elements of inspiration in split-screen format. The result is a collage that narrates the path to the creation of the jersey. The project comprised concepting and video production. The video was used for retail.
