denn’s Kernkraft campaign

THE CHALLENGE

The diversity of seeds is threatened by commercial farming. In order to draw attention to the problem and promote sustainable agriculture, denn's Biomarkt and the BioMarkt group launched a joint initiative. Under the theme ”Kernkraft, ja bitte! Wir essen, was wir säen.“, a statement campaign was to be conceived that could be developed into a permanent communication cornerstone in the long term. The campaign slogan was an adaptation of the famous anti-nuclear power campaign “Kernkraft? Nein danke” (which only works as wordplay in German).

THE CONCEPT & THE WORK

We served as strategic consultants from the very beginning. After developing the positioning, campaign tools were designed and implemented. These included above all personal short portraits of the organic suppliers, key visuals and an initiative icon in the style of the "Kernkraft? Nein danke." classic. These tools were adapted for all relevant channels. They included POS displays, ambient media such as tram stickers or cash register dividers, various print media or buttons. The short portraits were produced locally under our supervision and then combined as a cinema commercial. All content was collected on the website www.kernkraft-ja-bitte.de, which was programmed by us.

All natural - the Denree group stands for high quality organic products since 1974. The business includes the organic wholesale Dennree and the denn's retail stores. Currently, it's the leading trade group of organic goods in the german-speaking world. We support Dennree in conception and execution of campaigns since 2018.
